Marc is so right saying that it takes
someone to say I'm here I'm ready to do it. I have two
boys ages 11 and 7 and neither of their fathers play
any kind of role in their lives. I enrolled my oldest
son a couple of years ago in the BBBS program and a
year ago they found a big for him. Well it turns out
that the big bite off more than he could chew because
he isn't really able to be dedicated and commit to my
son. He works 6 days a week and goes to school so my
son might see once a month or every other month. It
really makes my son sad because it's basically the same
situation as the relationship he has with his dad. I
know his big probably did want to volunteer but right
now I dont thinks that he can commit to it because of
his busy schedule. I don't want my son to think that
every man that comes into his life is too busy to spend
time with him but this is what it seems in his eyes. My
youngest son just got enrolled and we will have an
interview soon to match him with a big and I just hope
that he doesn't experience the same thing his brother
experienced. I just want a positive person in my boys
life that help and influence them to grow up to be
positive Men like these men in the videos. Thank you

time with the littles!
